Ennio Morricone is one of the greatest movie music composer of all times ! And like every great music, you can play it in every form of orchestration, and on every kind of instrument. Of course a polyphonic instrument like the guitar is great for that ! 

I just added a small introduction, which is in fact a short impro on the E pedal, then you just have to play the melody, already so rich, adding some bass lines, and some dissonant chords from time to time.
